Job Summary Acquires job skills to resolve routine tasks requiring limited judgement. Focus is on routine tasks, using limited judgement of standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team. Responsibilities Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance • Performs basic preventative maintenance checks on-site to non-critical facility components • Performs basic repairs and maintenance to non-critical facility components • Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) by following standard operating procedures; works under close supervision in responding to basic alarms • Normally receives detailed instructions on all work; works under close supervision Vendor Support • Coordinates with vendors on standard operating procedures Site Administration & Incident Support • Supports basic site logs for permits, such as: Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts Work Orders & Additional Projects • Completes basic routine work order facility requests under supervision. • Assists in routine incident management requests Collaboration • Provides assistance to departments during routine maintenance activities • Provides basic assistance to more senior staff on infrastructure projects; may shadow projects for learning Qualifications • Typically requires a high school diploma and proven year of equivalent work experience Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form .
