Ohme is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to clean, affordable energy. We do that by serving as an integrated hardware and software smart-grid platform, focused on the residential EV charging market. The worlds of energy, transport and artificial intelligence are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this new era. By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core. Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands. We are scaling up the business and are building out the team for rapid growth. If you’re interested joining a fast-growing cleantech venture on a data and AI-first journey to speed up the global transition to clean, affordable energy, read on! We are looking for a Compliance Manager to take ownership of Ohme's policy and compliance framework. You'll own the framework behind our continued growth: our ISO certifications, energy licences and registrations, and the policies underneath. You'll run audits, support tenders, and find smarter ways to automate the work.   This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in the office) based in our London office. What you'll do • Take ownership of Ohme’s ISO, licensing and regulatory registrations and the knowledge base that sits beneath them including governance and compliance policies, information security, quality management, data protection, third-party risk, and ESG policies. • Help build the compliance foundation that supports Ohme’s continued growth into new markets. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and against frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO9001, NIS2, ESG, OZEV, Ofgem Elexon and the Retail Energy Code and other energy sector-specific regimes appliable to Ohme in the UK, EU member countries, and beyond.  • Execute company-internal compliance audits, organise management reviews, maintain the risk register and improvement plans in collaboration with all departments. • Prepare for external audits and certifications, collect evidence and ensure identified gaps and addressed continuously. • Support customer tender responses by handling due-diligence requests and questionnaires with regards to compliance to security, H&S, quality, and ESG. • Define requirements and propose automation and AI tooling solutions for automated policy compliance monitoring, audit reporting and evidence collection. Who you are: • 5+ years of experience in a governance and compliance role maintaining ISO-certified processes • Proven track record managing tender and bid submissions end to end • An excellent communicator with strong commercial judgement , able to secure input from senior and technical colleagues in a collaborative way • A strong interest and curiosity to understand the full regulatory and governance landscape (safety, cyber security, ESG, energy distribution and trading), in which the company operates, able to identify new regulation and deep dive into them • Highly organised under deadline pressure managing multiple submissions and audit cycles without losing detail •  Genuine fluency with technology: experience using document automation, AI-assisted drafting, workflow tooling or compliance platforms to improve a process rather than simply operate it. Benefits You’ll get to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing scale-up with global ambitions that is cutting edge, passionate about sustainability and seeks to make the world a better place. Our benefits: • Competitive salary and performance bonus • Hybrid - 3 days a week in office • Private Health Insurance • Pension Scheme • Life Assurance Scheme with death in service benefit of 4x salary • Income Protection Scheme for long term illness • Ride to Work Scheme • Payroll Giving Scheme • Season Ticket Loan to spread cost of travel over 12 months • Eye Test every 2 years Ohme is an equal opportunity employer. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are at the heart of what we do and we encourage a culture where everyone can be themselves at work. We actively seek out a diverse range of talent and our policies ensure that every job application and employee is treated fairly, with equal opportunity to succeed and to feel included.
